Super Black Market
Super Black Market is a Missouri-based punk rock band formed in late 2005. I played guitar and sang backup vocals until early 2007; leaving due to other commitments. The website is mostly Flash that pulls calendars, news, lyrics, etc from a SQL database.
The initial concept was to portray the band members as giant ‘monsters’ looming over various juxtaposed buildings and landmarks. I decided to make the site a ‘side-scroller’ so the landscape would fit together as if it were almost a 360ยบ panorama. This project was extremely challenging, but very rewarding.
